I am an expatriate Kiwi living in South Africa, for many years, but still consider myself as New Zealand’s best ambassador ever.
My years of learning, since I left my Heartland way back when, have kept me, if not absolutely in touch, then with an overview of what was going down back home.
There were many years when all seemed calm and my Heartland flourished under various regimes. The ABs hovered around the top of the log, the Sevens boys and girls became legends, in the America’s Cup we were always THERE, and Kiwi legends were everywhere to be seen, from sport, industry, farming and dare I say it, politics.
In 2019, as a family, we were all set to sell up in South Africa and start again in my Heartland, but were troubled by the manner in which my fellow men and women had allowed massive changes in political direction, and the in slithering of climate and sickness freaks by the labour, (only ever in lower case), party with a leader most New Zealanders trusted but would soon learn to despise.
With the onslaught of the sickness era and the obvious deceit by elected officials, worldwide, the lady in charge, and labour in New Zealand, climbed onto the lying bandwagon and dragged my Heartland along a path of lockdowns, death, injury and legacies lost forever.
The attack by New Zealand’s prima donna and her labour party, supported by complicit government departments, was abhorrent and my writings, pleas on social media and Prayers were a reflection of the descent into the ridiculous rule and mask wearing society these, probably, misguided officials had caused in New Zealand.
The Brand Name had been severely damaged.
Then, with a breath of fresh air the NZ Loyal Party arrived on the scene, promising truth and stating that the complicit in the sickness deceit, would be tracked down and prosecuted.
I was captured by the words of Liz Gunn and the NZ Loyal Party and admired her guts and determination in the face of a labour, police force, health department and media attack in NZ.
